Training Information

Audience/Who Should Register: Local Health Jurisdiction (LHJ) and state employees who will be working in the area of outbreak management of COVID-19.

Length of Training: 4 hours of online self-study and 4 hours of live virtual skill development.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe a systematic approach to outbreak management.
  • Analyze and interpret line lists, epidemic curves, and other outbreak-related data.
  • Think critically about challenges likely to be encountered during outbreaks.
  • Develop strategies for effective communication and collaboration with site liaisons and key stakeholders involved in location-based outbreaks.
  • Identify and utilize essential guidelines, standard operating procedures, and data collection tools necessary to guide outbreak management in different settings.
